Embroidery Digitizing

What is Embroidery Digitizing

A very simple explanation of what embroidery digitizing (or digitising as we say here in the UK) is. Basically it is an electronic form of creating embroidery designs which will run automatically when read by an embroidery machine which can read the embroidery designs. Electronic embroidery machines and software have been about for many years. Did you know that traditional embroidery has been around for at least 30,000 years?

On this page we intend to publish a full details explanation of the history of electronic embroidery and perhaps a little history of embroidery before electricity was invented. You will also find our embroidery digitizing tips right here. Each month we plan on producing a details embroidery design tutorial using various techniques (including digitizing using large scale drawings and a digitrac as well as the new techniques using the latest software).

Bookmark use now, you will find this information available as soon as we get it finalized by our team.
